Trinculo (tring'-kew-loe) is a natural satellite of Uranus. It was discovered by Holman, et al. on 2001-08-13, and given the temporary designation S/2001 U 1. It is also designated Uranus XXI. It is named after the jester in William Shakespeare's play The Tempest.
