Trondra

Trondra is an island in Shetland, Scotland. It has an area of nearly 3 km2 and a population of around 100 people. The island is linked by bridges to the southern peninsula of the Shetland Mainland and to Burra. The bridge linking Trondra to the mainland was opened in 1975.

A local community hall was opened in 1986.

Settlements on the island include Burland, Cauldhame, Cutts and Glendale. Burland houses one of Shetland's most popular tourist attractions - the Burland Croft Trail.
