USS Miami

Two vessels of the United States Navy have been named USS Miami, after the city of Miami, Florida. One was named USS Miami in honor of the Miami Valley of Ohio.
- The first Miami was a side-wheel steam gunboat in use during the American Civil War. Named after the Miami Valley Area of Ohio.
- The second Miami (CL-89) was a light cruiser commissioned in 1943, active in the Pacific War, and decommissioned in 1947. First to be named in honor of the city of Miami, Florida
- The third Miami (SSN-755) is a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine commissioned in 1990 and on active service as of 2005.
