University of the East

The University of the East is a university in Manila, Philippines. The university is one of the eight schools in the UAAP sports association.

The university was founded in 1946, the year the Philippines was granted independence from the United States.

Notable alumni from the University of the East include Philippine Vice President Noli de Castro.
