Victory Road was the first monthly professional wrestling pay-per-view event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It was televised live from Soundstage 21 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on November 7, 2004.

Previously, TNA had taped a weekly one-hour pay-per-view event from its inception, but ended the practice in September 2004 with the success of their free weekly show, TNA iMPACT!, at the time airing on FOX Sports Net.

The 2004 Super X Cup 20-man Gauntlet Match

The final two men in the ring were Kazarian and Hector Garza. Hector Garza wins by pinfall, rolling Kazarian up in a small package after Kazarian failed a corkscrew moonsault.

Eight-man Tag Team Match: Kid Kash, Dallas and The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) vs. Ron "The Truth" Killings, Erik Watts, Johnny B. Badd and "Empire Saint" Pat Kenney

Killings, Watts, Badd and Kenney won, with Ron "The Truth" Killings pinning Chase Stevens after a double-arm DDT.

Lucha Libre Minis Contest: Piratita Morgan vs. Mascarita Sagrada

Mascarita Sagrada wins by pinfall, rolling up Piratita Morgan in the small package.

For the NWA World Tag Team Championship: Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) (c) vs. 3Live Kru (B.G. James and Konnan)

3Live Kru won to become the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, with Konnan pinning Bobby Roode after a Facejam.

In The Pit, with Rowdy Roddy Piper: "The Superfly" Jimmy Snuka

Piper tries to get Jimmy Snuka to hit him with a coconut, wanting to atone for a similar incident when Piper hit Snuka over the head with one in 1984 with the WWF. Snuka refused. Kid Kash came out and berated Piper, but got hit with the coconut when he tried to attack Snuka. Kazarian and Michael Shane came in and double-teamed Snuka, who was saved by Sonjay Dutt. Kash recovered and took Sonjay out, but was then run out of the ring by Piper.

Trinity vs. Jacqueline

Trinity wins by pinfall after hitting Jacqueline with the Fall From Grace.

Monster's Ball Three Way Match: Raven vs. "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs. "The Monster" Abyss

Under Monster's Ball rules, all three men were locked up in separate rooms alone for 24 hours prior to the match with no food, water, or outside contact.

Monty Brown wins by pinfall, pinning Raven after hitting the Pounce on him through a table.

For the TNA X Division Championship: Petey Williams (w/Scott D'Amore) (c) vs. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles

Petey Williams wins by pinfall to retain the X Division Championship, after hitting A.J. Styles with the X Division belt while the referee was distracted and nailing him with his Canadian Destroyer finisher.

Last Man Standing Tag-team Match: America's Most Wanted ("Wildcat" Chris Harris and "Cowboy" James Storm) vs. Triple X (Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper)

Last Man Standing elimination rules: All four men fight. When one man is pinned, he has a ten-count to make it back to his feet or he is eliminated. Last man standing wins for his team.

  1. Christopher Daniels was first to be pinned by James Storm after a reverse Death Valley driver. Daniels made it up in an 8-count.
  2. James Storm was pinned by Christopher Daniels after the Powerplex. He got up in a 9-count.
  3. James Storm was pinned again by Christopher Daniels after a chair shot to his injured knee. Storm was eliminated.
  4. Christopher Daniels was pinned by Chris Harris after a leg drop off the top rope. Daniels was eliminated.
  5. Chris Harris was the last man standing after hitting the Catatonic on Elix Skipper on a steel chair. It was a controversial finish, as referee Andrew Thomas counted a pin despite Skipper appearing to kick out at two.

Results of the TNA Director of Authority Election

With 55.6% of the vote, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes defeats Vince Russo. His first order of business as Director of Authority is to book a match at TNA Turning Point between AMW and Triple X in a Six Sides of Steel Match.

Ladder Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Jarrett (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Jarrett scales the ladder and gets the belt to retain the title after the returning Scott Hall and the debuting Kevin Nash both hit Jeff Hardy with guitars.
