Wikia is an incorporated company which was founded in 2004 by Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia.

Wikia manages Wikicities, a collection of over 250 wiki communities, and hosts Memory Alpha, a Star Trek encyclopedia, and Uncyclopedia, a parody encyclopedia.

Wikiasari was a project run by Wales which attempted to create a copyleft search engine. The Wikiasari project used to be called Wikia.
