  • Important Southern Phrase used pre-American Civil War as a reason to keep slavery. This should also have been the next Southern US collaboration of the week, but that project became inactive. So because of that I'm nominating it here. --ZeWrestler Talk 17:39, 26 August 2005 (UTC)
  • Definately an important topic and required for any good teaching of the civil war Magicmonster 03:41, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

Comments:

  • There are several state history articles that have been well written, including History of Alaska, History of Ohio and History of California. But there is barly anything about this important state that has a very rich and diverse history. I believe that this article need to be improved so that it can stand on its own like the previously mention articles above. --ZeWrestler Talk 12:41, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
  • I completely agree. This is needed badly. Very few people know the true history of New Jersey, and as a New Jersey resident, I feel it could use a history page. Hurricanehink 02:55, 2 September 2005 (UTC)
  • A state with hundreds of years of history, and only a stub? —MESSEDROCKER (talk) 23:36, September 2, 2005 (UTC)
