X-ray Tomography
From Freepedia
X-ray Tomography is a branch of X-ray microscopy. A series of projection images are used to calculate a 3-Dimensional reconstruction of an object. The technique has found many applications in materials science and, lately, in biology and biomedicine. In terms of the latter, the National Center for X-ray Tomgraphy (NCXT)[1] is one of the principle resources for developing this technology.
